And then, through the open door, she sees herself sitting on a bench in the station. The bathroom cleaning lady tells her she’s been in there twice. She asks the attendant when the late bus to take her to a new job will arrive and he tells her that she’s asked three times already. In the episode, written by Serling, Vera Miles (of “Psycho” fame) plays Millicent Barnes, a 25-year-old woman at an isolated New York bus station.
